WHAT TO WEAR TO YOUR BOUDOIR PHOTOSHOOT

We always say wear what you’re most confident in! If you love the outfit, your confidence will show through. We think its a great idea to mix up the looks too - like wear one black lingerie outfit with a garter belt, thigh-highs and heals and a different look with something more pastel or light colored or even a shirt of your mans with bare feet. And you don’t have to wear lingerie if you don’t want to - we offer nude shoots, or partial nudes with just underwear for one of the looks. You can also get creative and wear your man’s favorite jersey, work shirt, or uniform/ accessories of his. Does he love you cooking in heels? Bring an apron and heels to wear! Even just a sheet, robe or one of his favorite blankets is a great idea. Every shoot includes 2 looks and both looks are shot in the large window scene and white backdrop/bed scene for a variety of shots. Don’t forget your heels, garter belts/ thigh-highs, lingerie, jewelry and accessories. We’re happy to look through what you’ve brought upon arrival and help you narrow down the outfits and match up the accessories for the photoshoot. We also take details of things like wedding rings in the shot or heels and close ups and full body shots so you’ll be getting a range of images that you can collage together in an album if you’re giving that as a gift. WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR BOUDOIR PHOTO SESSION

All of our shoots come with 2 looks, so be sure to bring 2 lingerie options and matching accessories like garter belts, thigh-highs, jewelry, shoes (you can always add on additional looks for $50/each additional). It’s not a bad idea to bring a backup pair of thigh highs if you’re wearing them, as sometimes they rip easily (and our studio does not rent them because of their delicate nature). If you’re adding makeup to your photo session - don’t forget your matching concealer/ powder/ foundation (we have the rest!) and false eye-lashes - as their application is included with the makeup. If you’re not having us do your hair/makeup it’s a good idea to bring any hair styling products for touch up and a bag of your makeup essentials and lip color options along with lotion. Although we have an endless source of creative ideas, it’s a great idea to bring photos on your phone of any inspirational poses or shots you love and any makeup/ hair ideas if you’re having that done. While we always offer adult beverages, you’re always welcome to bring your favorite beverage for yourself as well. Most sessions range from 2-6 hours so if you have any medications or special dietary snacks it’s a good idea to come prepared, although we always offer some light snacks for longer sessions.

HOW LONG WILL MY BOUDOIR SESSION BE

Every session length varies between 2-6 hours. If you’re getting your hair and makeup done with the session, you can expect a longer time frame like 5-6 hours. If you’re coming with hair/makeup done - the session is more like 2 hours. If you’re adding on additional looks beyond the first 2 included or adding on another style like Pinup or Hollywood Glamour - that adds time to the session. Although it says about 45 minutes of shoot time, we don’t like to rush our clients and we want you take all the time you need to change, and discuss sets along with coach you on posing and show you some fantastic shots along the way - so we always say plan on 2-6 hours. The sessions are fun and you’ll be feeling super sexy and empowered when you leave - so we encourage you to make some fun plans afterwards!

HOW TO KEEP THE SESSION A SECRET FROM MY MAN

Many people want to keep the session a secret so we’ve come up with some clever ideas for you to explain where you’ll be and why you’re all dolled up!

• “I got a free makeup/ hair look at an Ulta Event/ (or the) Mall”

• “My friend wanted to experiment with makeup/hair techniques she just learned”

• “I tried this new thing I saw on Youtube with my makeup/hair”

• “I had a lunch date with my friends and went shopping”

• “I wanted to get dolled up for a date night with you”

• “I am working on a suprise for you - don’t ask questions ;) xox”

• “I’ll tell you when I give you a surprise I’m working on for you soon”

HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR PHOTOS SESSION

Some helpful tips for preparing for your photoshoot -

• For waxing - we recommend getting it done at least 4 days prior - as it can leave you a bit red and swollen

• Be sure to shave legs, toes, underarms and bikini line (if that’s the look you desire). Bikini line shaving - to avoid red bumps try shaving with warm water, a newer razor and with Neosporin or coconut oil instead of soap (not to worry though - we offer photoshop services)

• Come with clean/DRY strait hair (if getting hair done)

• Come with a clean/ moisturized face and moisturized lips if having makeup done (Any facials should be done at least 2 days prior)

• Stretch before hand and after shoot! To capture your sexiest angles, we do ask you to arch your back, point your toes and pop your booty a lot! People always say they had no idea how challenging it can be to model - so be sure to stretch the day off and afterwards (If you have any injuries, back problems or other limitations, just let us know and we'll be mindful.)

• Plan a fun outing for afterward - you're sure to be looking fabulous!

• Do not try out a new spray tan salon or crazy new hair style prior to shoot. We’ve had scary cases of spray-tan-gone wrong when clients tried new places or products.

WHAT TO WEAR TO YOUR BRIDAL BOUDOIR PHOTOSHOOT

Brides often look fabulous in pale colors like white, cream or pale pinks/pastels for one of their looks as this gives that traditional wedding feel. We also encourage brides to bring their veil to the shoot for a few shots that create sexy sheer tulling wrapped around the bride. Don’t have a veil or it’s not ready in time for shoot? No worries, we have several in-stock available and there’s no extra charge for using them during your shoot. We also encourage brides to bring/wear their garter if they like for one of the shots, wedding day shoes, jewelry and their engagement ring. It’s sometimes a good idea to have the ring cleaned prior to the shoot if needed. We like to take a variety of close-up detail shots to capture the ring, garter, shoes, flowers, etc. so you have a beautiful collage of the entire look if you’re creating an album. MAKEUP/ HAIR TRIAL MORNING OF SHOOT

Try to coordinate your salon’s hair/makeup trial with your photoshoot so you can check two things off your wedding to-do list! And you’ll get to see REAL examples of how the makeup/ hair looks in the photoshoot and save money - not having to get hair/makeup done twice. If you can coordinate your salon with everyone’s schedules, be sure to leave AMPLE time for hair/makeup prior to the shoot. We’re happy to work with you on this scheduling and it’s a great opportunity to see the real photo results!
